| thinking at work. I just don't see people abiding by that AT ALL. We have handfuls of Sport 500 cars around here with completely open exhausts that have gone 50-100,000 miles without a problem but it's kinda hard to completely disregard what the guy who sells the turbos says...so it's a hard call to make. I understand the logic behind it but I don't know if it's really a big issue or not. It could be just one of those "in an ideal world" type of things that they say so that the turbos last as long as possible or something to cover their own butts. But I could be way off on that. If anything I'd talk to some guys that have installed a bunch of Sport 500s and see what they think. Greg Dupree comes to mind but he's away on vacation until Monday and will probably need a week to sift through emails while he was gone. Good luck!
